The Myers Briggs Type Indicator
The Myers Briggs Type Indicator is a personality profiling tool that can be used in a wide range of training and development interventions.
MBTI results identify valuable differences between people and help individuals to identify their own behaviour preferences. This information enhances understanding of individuals motivations, natural strengths and potential areas for growth. It can also help individuals to appreciate people who differ from them.
After more than 50 years of research and development the current MBTI is the most widely used instrument for understanding personality differences and over 3.5 million Indicators are administered annually worldwide.
At Impact we use MBTI in the following areas:
- Coaching
- Team building and team development
- Career development and planning
- To supplement skills development in areas such as management and leadership and sales
