At Impact, we believe that people development is successfully achieved when it is delivered with people and not to them. The ownership of the coaching process by the coachee is therefore critical to the success of coaching.
We believe that successful coaching requires clear agreed boundaries, measures and reporting structures so that the process is transparent.
We provide support outside the coaching sessions to help coachees to bed in the changes.
Tools such as the Myers Briggs Type Indicator, Strengthscope and 360° profiling and feedback can be used as part of the coaching process to facilitate individuals understanding of their personality preferences and strengths in a range of areas including decision making, communication, information gathering and working style.
All Impact coaches receive ongoing development and supervision to develop competence, style, tools, techniques and their application.
Impact are Organisational Members of the Association for Coaching
"The way that the coaching was structured worked really well for me. Putting dates in the diary for subsequent sessions helped me to stay focused and work on my actions. I found the use of real life examples really helpful as it bridged the gap between theory and me understanding what I could actually do differently day to day" Manager, local government
